I am a marine ecologist and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hawai'i Institute of Marine Biology. My interests are focused on applied spatial and conservation ecology with a concentration in environmental policy and management. Although I am interested in a variety of regions, my current work is focused on coral reef and Southern Ocean ecosystems.
My current work in Dr. Elizabeth Madin's lab is focused on using emerging technologies for marine and coral reef management and conservation. My dissertation research, in Dr. Heather Lynch's lab at Stony Brook University, was focused on developing methods to quantify human impacts on populations of subantarctic penguins and seals.
